Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1 1.25 oz packet taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Roma tomatoes chopped
  • 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives drained
  • 2 green onions sliced

Instructions
 

  • Softened the Cream Cheese: Soften the cream cheese by letting it warm up on the counter, or whip it with a hand mixer to lighten it.
  • Mix the Base: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning mix. Mix well until smooth and evenly combined.
  • Assemble the Dip: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom of a serving tray or an 11x7" casserole dish.
  • Add the Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded lettuce evenly over the cream cheese mixture. Then, add the shredded Cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives, and sliced green onions.
  • Serve: Serve the dip immediately with tortilla chips or your favorite dipping chips.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth and creamy base.
You can adjust the amount of taco seasoning to suit your taste preferences.
For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
